Tegnap megint új blokkot és vele új technikát tanultam. A youtube egy igazi kincsesláda, ha tudod mit szeretnél "előásni". Eleanor Burns patchwork-ös videóit nézegettem: így került elém a Whirlyging Technique. A blokk hihetetlenül mutatós és a videót nézve az elkészítése sem boszorkányság. Jó dolog egy igazi profitól tanulni. Persze azonnal ki kellett próbálnom! A gyülekezetünkben a következő pár hétben két bababemutató is lesz, így a "felfedezés" a legjobbkor jött. Pénteken megint együtt varrunk a lányokkal, úgyhogy vasárnapra akár készen is lehet az új babatakaró. Az anyukák és a babák örömére. Meg persze a miénkre is, hiszen mindannyian jól tudjuk, hogy "jobb adni, mint kapni".

Yesterday I searched on youtube again. And I found a couple of teaching videos of Eleanor Burns. She is so talented quilter. I've found her Whirlyging Technique, which I had to try at that moment. I love the simple way she demonstrate the patterns. And as you can see the center of the block is well pieced (in an easy way). On Friday we'll sew together with the women from our church to make a new baby quilt. Eleanor's block will be our main pattern. How good thing to learn from professionals, and find treasures on the net.
